AECO Energy pledges to be carbon neutral by 2050. We understand urbanisation and climate change and help our customers make the best out of it by helping them achieve their sustainability objectives. Driving the energy transition
Transitioning to renewable energy is one of the most effective ways to lower emissions and save the environment. We are on a path to powering our global operations with 100% renewable energy. In 2021 and 2022, we have matched 100% of our global, annual electricity consumption with renewable energy.
We have made a commitment to purchase enough renewable energy to match 100% of our operations and we have reached this goal in 2022. This means that we will buy on an annual basis the same amount of megawatt-hours (MWh) of renewable energy in the form of renewable energy certificates (RECs) – as the amount of MWh of electricity that we consume for our operations Asia.

The Local Hero Volunteer Program is designed to encourage AECO Energy employees to volunteer in their local communities.
Under this program, we are offering employees a way to give back to their local community with charities that are non-political in nature and does not directly or indirectly benefit our employees’ personal gains. Employees are given the freedom to find activities to volunteer at their own pace and time. This gives employees a new way to make an even bigger impact on the causes they care about. The program will empower employees to become local volunteer heroes.
